Everyone is welcome
Accessibility at Pat’s Sapphire Central.
Practical information and helpful resources to support a comfortable, welcoming and enjoyable visit.
Planning your visit
Pat’s Sapphire Central wants every visitor to feel informed and welcome. Therefore, we provide clear accessibility information to help you prepare for your visit to Queensland’s Sapphire Gemfields.
Every person’s access requirements can be different. If you would like to discuss mobility, sensory or individual support needs, please contact our friendly team before you arrive.
Before you arrive
Pat’s Sapphire Central welcomes visitors of all abilities. Accessible parking is available near the entrance, with access to the café, gift shop, seating areas and accessible toilets.
Because our fossicking areas are natural outdoor environments, some surfaces include gravel and uneven ground. However, our team is happy to discuss practical assistance and help you plan the most suitable experience.
Service animals, carers and support people are welcome. In addition, visitors with particular accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact us before travelling.
